I have just recently acquired a good friend's used 2011 BMW X3 F25 28i and have been working to restore it to "reliable commuter status". It's a long story (see below) but he was initially convinced that his X3 had a bad transmission because it was shuddering while turning at low speed (pulling into parking spots, driving in parking lots, etc.). To bad you can't roll 'em back up with the key on the F30. Kind of stupid that you have to get in the car to do that. You can roll them back up - if you keep your finger on the lock button the windows will go back up. Always good for when you're walking away from the car and realise you've left a window open. To enable auto folding mirrors on X3, go to My Vehicle on your vehicle’s infotainment system display. Then select Vehicle settings. Then choose Doors/Key. Scroll down and check the box next to Fold mirrors in when locked. The exterior mirrors should now automatically fold in when you lock the vehicle and fold out when you unlock. Later in the day I might pay the $30 to access BMW TIS since I can find absolutely no DIY videos or writeups for the F25 radiator anywhere. It wasn't that bad to get it out, but now I'm stuck with this seemingly wrong part that's supposed to be the right part. If anyone has also run into this I would love it if you could shed some light on this. I have witnessed a problem in my F25 BMW X3. On low mileage my 2012 BMW X3 starts vibrating/shuddering. After using the scanner to figure out the problem, it showed transfer box oil wear. i bought original BMW oil and changed it but there was no improvement or even a slight improvement.
